Kyle Murphy BSc H. KIN, MSc PT
Kyle Murphy is a Registered Physiotherapist. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario in 2008. While at UWO, Kyle was the athletic trainer for the varsity Men’s Soccer team. He continued his training at McMaster University where he completed his Masters in Physiotherapy in 2010. Since graduating, Kyle has worked in private physiotherapy clinics focusing predominantly on musculoskeletal disorders. He has continued to advance his skills by taking courses from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, the Advanced Physiotherapy Education Institute the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA’s manual therapy program, and advanced orthopedic physiotherapy. Kyle moved to the area in 2012 and has embraced living in the Innisfil area. Between spending his time in the woods with his labs, Indy and Bauer or out on the lake fishing, Kyle has enjoyed living in a more rural setting. Kyle and his wife Stacey now have two little girls Taylor and Avery who they are excited to raise in the Innisfil Community.
Stephanie Shaler, Physiotherapist
Stephanie Shaler is a Registered Physiotherapist. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology at McMaster University and her Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. She enjoys treating clients of all different age ranges and physical activity levels. Stephanie’s treatment techniques consist of manual therapy, exercise and soft tissue techniques. Since graduating, she has taken courses in the areas of vestibular rehabilitation (dizziness, vertigo), mulligan mobilization with movement, and soft tissue release. She also continues to work through her manual therapy levels through the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA and has recently completed level 2. Stephanie moved to the Innisfil/Barrie area in 2017 and enjoys all that the area has to offer!
Jane Bergeron, Office Manager
Jane has had many years in Office Administration and Customer Service and loves working with people. She is excited to be working in a community where she lives and has grown to love since 2003. After experiencing the benefits of Physiotherapy and Massage, she looks forward to helping and watching the progression of patients to a healthy happy lifestyle.
Nichola Wright, Administrative Assistant
Nichola moved to Innisfil in 2015 with her family. She is an experienced administrative assistant taking pride in ensuring the efficient and smooth day to day operations in our office. Nichola is looking forward to working in her own community.
Kim McCaskie, RMT
Kimberly McCaskie is a registered massage therapist. She grew up in Barrie and moved to Innisfil with her husband in 2000. Kim graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy and was registered in 1998. She has also taken courses in prenatal massage and taping. Kim had a successful practice in a Bradford clinic before taking a few years off to be home with her children She has been back to work since 2011 and has built a strong patient base in the Innisfil area.
Katie Cyr, RMT
Katie Cyr is a registered massage therapist who moved to the area in 1997 with her family. She graduated from Georgian College and was registered in 2009. She has taken courses in therapeutic ultrasound, cupping massage and joint mobilizations.
She has worked in a multi-disciplinary health clinic and a chiropractic clinic in Barrie and had a successful practice before taking time off to start a family. She has been back to work since 2012 and has a loyal patient following.
Mirjan Alpiev, RMT
Mirjan Alpiev is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the College of Massage Therapy of Ontario. He graduated from the Medix College Massage Therapy Program (2200 hours) and has gained valuable experience working in both clinical settings, as well as many community outreach programs. Mirjan believes that massage therapy can help patients minimize pain and reach a higher level of health and wellness.
His passion for the massage therapy industry is reflected in the successful outcomes of his patients’ needs. He continually upgrades his level of knowledge and ability in the healthcare field making him a key asset to anyone’s rehabilitative needs.
Having practiced as a massage therapist for many years, he has extensive experience in treating a range of ailments including sports-related injuries, scar tissue, headaches, low back pain and many other chronic conditions including sprains, strains, bursitis, and
tendonitis. Mirjan’s massage treatments use a combination of deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, neuromuscular techniques.
